Program Overview

Oral Roberts University’s Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Recreation Administration will empower you with the knowledge of leisure science to become an ambassador for personal wellness and optimal fitness. You will examine the development of leisure programs pertinent to schools, camps, churches and sports management. You can also explore teaching physical education or qualifying for physical therapy in medical school.

The Health, Leisure and Sports Science Department is located in the Kenneth H. Cooper Aerobics Center which includes classrooms, an indoor swimming pool, basketball courts, an indoor running track and state-of-the-art exercise equipment for both men and women. You will be encouraged by faculty to engage in a life-long fitness program for a healthy life-style.
