Oral Roberts University’s Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish with Professional Education equips you to earn teacher certification for private and public elementary, middle or high schools.
You’ll experience interaction with our excellent faculty who will guide you in developing skills in Spanish and incorporating them into everyday life. You will learn the culture and literature of Spain and Latin America while studying the mechanics and grammar of the Spanish language.
Education courses will examine Biblical principles of teaching as well as provide concepts needed for language learning, instruction and the historical background of the teaching of modern language. You will explore foreign language in elementary school, immersion and high school programs.
Expand your journey by joining the Spanish Club which enhances appreciation of the traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. Club events offer opportunities to learn about the culture along with practicing the language in exciting and innovative ways. The club also supports missions in Spanish-speaking countries.
